Who is eligible to use the Visa Signature Widget?

Anyone can download and use the Visa Signature Widget. Payment for tickets and packages promoted via the Visa Signature Widget must be completed with a valid U.S.-issued Visa Signature card.

What are the benefits?

The Visa Signature Widget is a convenient way to be automatically notified of cardholder-only events as soon as they become available, including limited-opportunity tickets and packages that sell out quickly. Be the first to know about every Visa Signature offer: from sports and entertainment to dining events around the country.

What’s more, the Visa Signature Widget is customizable by your preferred locations. You can view national events, plus your choice of events in the San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Los Angeles and/or New York areas.

What countries is the Visa Signature Widget available for?

Anyone worldwide can download and view events in the widget. However, you must have a U.S. issued Visa Signature card to redeem Visa Signature benefits.

What systems and platforms will the Visa Signature Widget run on?

The Visa Signature Widget is offered as a tiny application on your computer desktop, including Windows XP/2000, Microsoft Vista Sidebar Gadget, Yahoo! Widget for PCs, or Apple Macintosh Dashboard Widget.

We also offer a web-based version for iGoogle, and embed code you can copy and paste into other personal homepages that support embedding of widgets.

What are the system requirements for the Visa Signature Widget?

The Visa Signature Widget runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Apple Macintosh OSX. To run the widget as a Yahoo! Widget (PC only), you must download and install the Yahoo! Widgets framework (http://widgets.yahoo.com).

I tried to install the widget and it didn’t work. Did I do something wrong?

Are you at work? Some companies restrict user’s abilities to download and install applications. Talk to your Help Desk or run the widget on your home computer. Alternatively, use the widget on the Web, such as a personal homepage like iGoogle. Running the widget on the Web requires no install.

I installed the widget but the content didn’t load.

The first time the content loads it could take a few seconds to load the data. Subsequent updates are faster.

How often is the widget updated?

The content is updated as Visa Signature events become available. Content may update several times a day or only a few times a week. It all depends on when events are released and published.

How do I uninstall the widget?

If you’re running the widget on Windows XP or 2000, just go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Applications. Find the Visa Signature Widget and uninstall. If you’re using any other platform, please refer to the provider’s website for information on removing a widget.
